Mike and I made a series of how to videos on using your RED one camera with the help of our friends over at Indie Rentals in Hollywood a month ago.
They are awesome and they are only available on WonderHowTo.com. You know, that place on the internet where you find all the how to videos and instructional video you could ever need. Almost immediately after making those RED camera how-to videos, we got a ton of emails and feedback from current RED camera owners and even people who haven't gotten their camera yet! The latter are even more excited because now they have a working knowledge of their next toy before they get it!
The whole experience really solidified the superiority of this camera above all others for us. Mike put it best when he said that you will never need to buy another camera because you upgrade the software and the camera has more features. Other cameras are made with a locked system of features that you cannot change unless you buy their newer model.
Then we were supposed to go the NAB in Vegas to watch the guys of RED camera roll out their new SCARLET 3k camera for $3000. Yes, 3k for only $3000! It is awesome. But even more so, they announced the next RED camera called the EPIC. It shoots 5k resolution! And, RED is letting people trade in their RED one cameras for the new EPIC. What a great company. They are really about the consumer. I also heard that they got a patent on a 7k resolution RED camera and a 10k resolution camera. I know, I know. you are saying, "what do I need that for?" Picture this: you are on location, you are running way behind and the producers are really breathing down your neck. Imagine being able to shoot one master shot and then KEY FRAME in for all your coverage? It may not be the real thing, but it definitely gives you more breathing room in post.
Oh yeah, here is another awesome thing that happened as a result of Mike and I making Red one Camera how to videos...Mike got to write an article to be published in HDVIDEOPRO magazine about what we learned! It was amazing. Then we had a photo shoot that turned out incredible. We were shooting at the pier with the RED camera and I was joking around with the people on the beach. We had a ball. So, look for that article when it comes out because Mike wrote about work flow issues, a lighter camera build that only weighs 22lbs. and a few other things like the outstanding latitude between the lights and darks that he discovered while we were shooting on La Brea blvd. that day.
Finally, for those of you who are shooting your own films, whether using RED or not, try this how to video I found on WonderHowTo.com from Videomaker that teaches you the 7 Deadly Sins of Camera work.
And, Congratulations to KIP KAY for getting featured in the International Herald Tribune about his how to videos and making over $100,000 Buckaroos doing it!
Till next time, keep making movies and how to videos because they are all awesome!
Rock n Roll,

On the other hand, if you cannot tell, or are not certain, what the writer wants to say, then you will never say this article is good.

I had got a desire to make my own organization, nevertheless I did not earn enough of money to do this. Thank heaven my close fellow told to utilize the credit loans. Thence I took the term loan and realized my dream.
