In a world where information can be shared and sent to people all over the globe its a thrill to see people using WonderHowTo.com from all walks of life. Giving away free information can lead to waves of inspiration and sometimes just plain clones.
This how-to video I made to show how I created a crowd effect for a piece we did for the ZOOM network.
This video has been watched many times over the years, on the Belief Design website and now on Vimeo. You can see the original piece for the Indian Network Zoom on the Belief Website. Last year I discovered this Russian video which was a direct clone of our original. I think the intent on sharing a technique is to see what other people do with that process, how they apply it to their own work. I was never expecting such a direct copy of our work. I guess imitation is the biggest form of flattery or at least a sure sign of a good software tutorial!
